Prior to forming Winning Abilities, Todd worked at Allianz Life Insurance Co. of N.A. for over 20 years, the last eight years leading the investment functions at the company as the CEO of Allianz Investment Management LLC. Over time, Todd became increasingly motivated by some of the most resilient people he had ever met: individuals with physical and/or mental disabilities. Firsthand, he saw so many people tackling challenges head-on, and as opposed to seeing their life circumstances as headwinds or constraints—they embrace them and simply beat their competition—either in work or sport. He is an advocate for inclusion and was instrumental in creating the Beyond Employee Resource Group within Allianz Life and served as its Executive Sponsor. He also serves on the Advisory Board at Best Buddies MN. Todd strongly believes that creating environments that optimize all individuals' abilities improves life for everyone in the organizations and communities in which we live, work, and play.
